AMER crafts genre-defying music inspired by the Dada movement. Blending French and German into an imaginary language, they pair the text with interwoven rhythms and atonal melodies. By turns absurd, beautiful, clichéd, or experimental, their music places theatricality at the heart of the performance. The trio explores themes of sailing, Switzerland’s language barriers, hyperactivity, and class struggle in their compositions.
