SIGGY MATHILDE SAVERY
This evening, Siggy Mathilde presents a collection of personal and poetic pop songs. Blending classical elements with the modern world of samples, soundscapes, and guitars, she envelops the audience in storytelling about breaking out of destructive cycles. The songs explore themes such as self-exploration, rebirth, and listening to your inner voice. We follow Siggy’s journey from inside her shell to breaking free and letting go of what has been holding her back.
Joining her on stage is her longtime friend and musical partner, Nina Dahlgaard, lead singer of Blue Foundation. On synth is her older brother, Mathias Savery, with whom she has been making music since she learned to walk. On drums is Søren Michelsen, former drummer of the band Søn. Completing the ensemble on strings and horns are Lea Kampmann (violin), Dina Bodé (violin), Thorbjørn Kaas (cello), Asger Nissen (alto saxophone) and Magnus Kudsk (tenor saxophone).
Come as you are.
